WEEKLY NEWS UPDATE

This week has been quite frantic in the shape of gymnastics. The line-up for the WOGA Classic from 15-17th February has been announced, updates on Corrie Lothrop's injury and much more.

Update On Corrie Lothrop's Injury

Utah Gymnast Corrie Lothrop's season came to a halt after she tore her Achilles tendon on floor against Arizona State last week. She had previously won the beam but she fell during training. It has already been confirmed that she will be out all season which makes it harder for Utah to fill the team. Replacement have not been said yet.

MAG Winter Cup 2013

More NCAA

After last week's drama with Corrie Lothrop's injury, the Florida Gators sit comfortably at the top of the team standings with Oklahoma just trailing behind. Previous leaders, Michigan, have now dropped to third. Florida's Kytra Hunter has showed grit and determination to retain her National all-around lead. The leader on vault is Utah's Tory Wilson who is just 0.009 over Florida's Ashanee Dickerson. Things are even closer on bars with Gym Dog Chelsea Davis 0.008 over Kytra Hunter of Florida. UCLA's Vanessa Zamarripa leads the beam over Mackenzie Caquatto of Florida. The crowd pleaser Vanessa Zamarripa also takes the floor lead over Arkansas' Katherine Grable.
