World vault medalist Thi Ha Phan was awarded the honour of 'Vietnam's Athlete Of The Year' 2011. Thi got a bronze medal in the World vault final, the first World medal Vietnam had ever won! Aswell, as her achievement in Tokyo, she won 3 medals at the Southeast Asian games in Indonesia. These achievements secured the berth of her Olympic dream!
